Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is our iteration of a luxurious crystalline quartzite being quarried in the mountains of northeastern Brazil. From a distance you mostly notice linear veining in shades of coconut brown but up close you see the real complexity of the stone. It features a marbled base of seashell and sand tones with taupe and oat hues as well. We like how from far the base appears to be one color but then transforms as you approach it. The final detail that we added to help define and texturize the stone were the opal colored crackled veins. They add that extra layer of complexity closely mirroring the patterns in the natural quartzite that people have come to love. Of course with our engineered quartz you get a comparably beautiful product in a much more durable material.
